About:

I am an experienced dog owner and have qualified in dog training through The Dog Training College.  We provide services throughout the South Lakeland and North Lancashire areas.  I am a force-free trainer and believe in positive reinforcement methods. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs, I have extensive experience of working and herding dog breeds.

What training can we provide?

We can provide a huge range of training services including recall, loose lead walking, separation anxiety,  reactivity, resource guarding, body language and 1:1 puppy training which includes confidence building, habituation, socialisation and household management.

We also offer learning walks and dog training walks.  Learning walks offer you an opportunity to observe your dog's body language and behaviours, identifying triggers and stimuli which affect you and your dog.

We also offer pre-puppy breed advice.  This is to help people find the right breed of dog to fit their lifestyle.

Training Packages

Our training packages begin with a free, 10 minute telephone consultation where we can discuss your needs and identify the right package for you and your dog.  During this consultation, we can both decide whether we are a good fit for each other, and your dog.

Consultation

After our initial call, if you decide to proceed with a formal consultation, I will visit you and meet you and your dog in your own environment.  Together we will go through the consultation form and discuss solutions and plans going forward.  Prices for this consultation phase start at £40.

Training Session

Sessions range from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the dog's needs and how the session is progressing - this may change from session to session.  Sometimes this may be a little bit less, sometimes it may be a little bit more, it really is about meeting the needs of the dog.  Training plans will be provided after each session to enable you to continue working with your dog between training sessions.

All training sessions are 1:1 and a responsible adult owner will need to be present at all times.

Training Package 1 (Bronze)

A 3-session package costing £165.

Training Package 2 (Silver)

A 5-session package costing £250.  This includes an aftercare plan where you can telephone for free advice at any point in the six months following your training package.

Training Package 3 (Gold)

This is a 8-session package  costs £375,  this includes an aftercare plan as above and a dog goody-bag which contains a dog treat bag, a clicker, dog whistle and a play ball.
